WNEP’s “Power to Save” special in September featured a unique collaboration between Earth Conservancy and Pennsylvania American Water in which residual material from the water treatment process is combined with compost from EC’s leaf and yard waste facility. The result? A nutrient-rich compost for use on some of EC’s reclamation Projects.
